ロンドン証券取引所グループ(LSEG)、 Beyond Ratings を買収

ロンドン証券取引所グループ(LSEG)は本日、FTSE Russell を中心とする情報サービス部門への継続的な投資の一環として Beyond Ratings(ビヨンド・レーティングス)を買収したと発表しました。Beyond Ratings は、債券投資家向けに環境・社会・ガバナンス(ESG)関連のデータを提供するプロバイダーとして高い評価を得ています。今回の買収資金については、既存のファシリティを利用して手 当てを行っています。買収条件は公開していません。

Beyond Ratings の買収により、FTSE Russell の既存 ESG インデックス、データ関連プロダクトのほか、イールドブックを通じて提供される分析ツールについても大きく強化されることになります。LSEG の 情報サービス事業は、革新的なリサーチに基づいてサステナビリティや ESG の要素を株式や債券投資戦 略に組み入れたいという、資産保有者の間で急速に高まるニーズに継続的に対応しています。今回の買 収により、LSEG の情報サービス事業は、マルチアセット・データおよび分析に関する能力を強化する とともに、Beyond Ratings の既存データセットの世界的な商品化をさらに進めてまいります。また、FTSE Russell は Beyond Ratings のサステナビリティ・データ、スマート・リスク・モデル、そして ESG リサーチに関する専門知識を利用して、マルチアセット・インデックス・ソリューションのさらな る深化を目指します。

Beyond Ratings の一連の分析ツールは高い評価を得ており、お客様はクレジット・リスク分析に ESG 基準を体系的かつ透明性の高い方法で組み込むことが可能になります。同社は 2014 年にフランスのパ リで設立され、金融セクターのサステナブルな経済への移行を支援する革新的なサービスを提供しています。同社は社内専門知識、高度な定量分析、リスク・スコアリングをコアスキルとして、175 カ国、10,000 社を超える企業に対して標準的なリサーチとカスタマイズされたサービスを提供しています。
