The Corporate Actions and Dividends data is collected from official data sources such as stock exchanges, SEC filings, press releases, depositories, transfer agents and directly from the company.

We provide the latest information available on North American companies including: name changes, mergers, acquisitions, redemptions, stock splits, dividends, maturities, tender offers, reorganizations, stock splits, spin-offs and shares outstanding information.

The North American listed-securities market is constantly in flux. Our Corporate Actions feed allows clients to stay on top of the market changes

Our proprietary corporate action data was once used only internally to maintain our security master files and cross reference database. Today this content is accessible to the financial community via our Corporate Actions  feed. This service provides the user with the ability to match positions electronically, ensuring accurate identification of issuers, as well as issues.

The service provides an automated option to process and integrate any issuer- or issue-level action on North American traded securities. Our data is collected from the stock exchanges, SEC filings, press releases, depositories, transfer agents and directly from the company.

Electronic Dividend Service

Our Electronic Dividend Service provides you with the necessary information to make truly informed investment decisions 

The Electronic Dividend Service provides timely information for dividend distributions, stock splits, stock dividends and much more for the North American equity and mutual fund market. This service provides mutual fund announcements than will help match positions electronically within your systems to ensure accurate and positive identification of issues, create ex-dividend date and record date calendars, flag distribution types for tax purposes and create a pending file for future dividends.

  • Broad coverage: Coverage of over 30,000 securities and mutual funds.
  • Officially sourced data: Data is collected from official data sources such as stock exchanges, SEC filings, press releases, depositories, transfer agents and directly from the company.
  • Detailed content: Over 300 fielded data items, including CUSIP, declaration date, ex-dividend date, record date, payment date, stock splits, dividend income flags to identify initials, specials, resumed, increased, reduced, extras, liquidations, accrued rates, finals, short, medium & long term capital gains, tax refunds, tax credits, year-end distributions, and many more.

Ex-Date Service

Be informed of the US dividends going “ex” on the next business day

The Ex-Date Service is a complement to our Electronic Dividend Service. This product notifies you electronically of all North American securities to be quoted “ex” on the next business day. The Ex-Date Service format offers the ability to program for electronic and automatic processing of the ex-date information. 

The Ex- Date Service helps users comply with Section 46 of the Rules of Fair Practice. Section 46 requires members holding open orders to adjust the price and quantity of such orders by the amount of any dividend, payment, or distribution on the day that the security is quoted ex-dividend, ex-rights, ex-distribution or ex-interest.

  • Officially sourced data: Data is collected from official data sources such as stock exchanges, SEC filings, press releases, depositories, transfer agents and directly from the company.
  • Detailed content: Includes CUSIP, ex-dividend date, ticker, issuer description, issue description, rate, payment type codes, issue type codes, announcement indicators, and many more.
  • Flexible delivery options: Content delivered twice daily at 4:00 PM (ET) and 6:00 PM (ET) via FTP. The 4:00 PM file is a preliminary list of securities whereas the 6:00 PM file is a final, which also contains all late announcements as provided by the exchanges.
Indicated Annual Dividend

Make informed decisions using our proprietary projected dividend payment feed

Thorough and back-tested, the Indicated Annual Dividend (IAD) data is built upon a proprietary calculation that values the projected dividend payments over the next 12 months. The IAD data is calculated and processed by using complex formulas and automated systems to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely data. Indicated Annual Dividends are calculated as soon as finalized dividends are announced to the financial community. In addition, IADs are adjusted on the ex-dividend date for stock splits and stock dividends.

  • Flexible delivery options: Content distributed through an end of day file in either XML or ASCII via FTP.
Unit Investment Trust

An industry-leading UIT database for trust-related calculations and tax reporting

The Unit Investment Trust (UIT) service offers coverage of the entire North American universe of trust issues. This coverage provides the ability to accurately calculate principal and interest payments, while monitoring distribution types for tax purposes. We receive UIT data directly from the UIT sponsors and have built a sound relationship with each sponsor. Our staff is fully trained to ascertain this data which has allowed us to create an industry-leading UIT database.

  • Full coverage: Complete coverage of the entire North American universe of trust issues.
  • Officially sourced data: Data is collected from official data sources as well as major UIT sponsors.
  • Detailed content: Content includes CUSIP, issuer name and description, record and payment dates, interest amount, principal amount, dividend income, capital gains, payment frequency, trust name and sponsor name.
  • Flexible delivery options: Content distributed through an end of day ASCII file via FTP.
