Index IDEA: Variety creates opportunity

While some US investors may view international equity markets as a single uniform asset class, in reality the global equity market landscape is widely varied, representing many market and economic conditions.

Alec Young, managing director, global markets research, FTSE Russell:

“Country equity fundamentals vary widely across Developed and Emerging markets. As such, access to country level exposures allows investors to surgically target desired fundamental attributes such as dividend yield or valuation.”
